KRAFT/TECH SOFTAIL STYLE SINGLE CURVED DOWN TUBE FRAMES

Kraft/Tech frames are an other Zodiac exclusive. These high quality frames and swingarms are handcrafted in the USA, using the highest quality steel. All steel tubing of frames and swingarms is in-house mandrel bent and further in-house TIG-MIG welded on state-of-the-art equipment. Kraft/Tech single down tube Softail style frames are available to accept Evolution or Twin-Cam B style engines. Frames for stock and aftermarket Evolution engines are set up for 1987 thru 1999 Softail shocks. Frames for Twin Cam B engines as used in 2000 to present Softail are set up for 2000 to present Softail shocks. All frames have a beefy 2" single curved down tube for pleasing aesthetics. 1 3/4" backbone tubing and 1 3/8" or even 1 1/2" for all other frame and swingarm tubing. Solid steel front and rear motor mounts are welded in place and milled for easy installation of engines. Solid steel transmission plates and transmission mounts are welded in place to provide maximum strength and best possible drive line alignment. Necks are CNC-machined from solid steel designed with integral neck webbing for unparalleled strength, available in various rakes. An adjustable steel seat bracket is welded on the frame to fit the OEM and most aftermarket seats. Each frame includes a beefy 1 3/8" steel tubing swingarms in either High Torque Style or Curved Dagger Style. Swingarms feature hidden mount rear wheel axle. For ideal weight balance the frames are available as regular Left Side Drive (LSD) for maximum 250 wide tire applications or Right Side Drive (RSD) for 250-up applications. Frames are supplied complete with swingarm, swingarm pivot axis, swingarm pivot bolts, swingarm pivot bearings, rear wheel axle, rear wheel axle covers and rear wheel axle adjusters.
