KRAFT/TECH SOFTAIL STYLE DUAL STRAIGHT DOWN TUBE FRAMES
These high quality frames and swingarms are handcrafted in the USA, using the highest quality steel. All steel tubing is in-house mandrel bent and TIG-MIG welded on state-of-the-art equipment. Frames are set up for 1987 thru 1999 Softail shocks. All frames have solid steel welded front and rear motor mounts and CNC machined necks. Motor mounts are milled for easy installation of engines and feature built-in offsets for perfect weight balance in wide tire applications. Frames for 200 thru 250 wide rear tires have offset transmission mounts. This requires a primary spacer and extended crankshaft extension, 12mm for frames for 200 series rear tires and 25mm for frames for 250 series rear tires. Solid steel transmission mounts are welded in place to provide maximum strength and best possible drive line alignment. Steel gas tank mounts are welded in place to suit OEM and most aftermarket Flatside gas tanks. An adjustable steel seat bracket is welded on the frame to fit OEM and most aftermarket seats. Swingarms are available in 3 styles: Stock Style with stock carriers and 3/4" axle, High-Torque Style with 1" hidden axle and Dagger Style with 1" hidden axle.
